Volt is immediately hiring for a Traffic/Warehouse Worker in Commerce, California



As a Traffic/Warehouse Worker you will:

• Radio communication with shipping office and warehouse supervisors
• Communicates with drivers if pick up or delivery
• Signs truck drivers in
• Manages Traffic Control
• Coordinates with shipping office to assign dock location
• Keeps a log of trucks delivering or picking up
• Overall security of outside
• During down-time, maintains outside area for cleanliness
• May be required to work in warehouse at times
• Sweep the dock area
• Maintain the guard shack area and the break area clean (both sections in the yard)
• Walk the yard for debris when no trucks are present
• Maintain a visitor log of official vehicles
• Immediately report any suspicious activities to supervisor in charge
• Experience in Forklift and Electrical Pallet Jack
• Loading and unloading trucks

This is a Temp to hire full time opportunity.



The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ years of warehouse experience related to freight/logistics/traffic management in-bound and outbound shipments
• bilingual experience (Spanish/English)
• food manufacturing is a plus but not mandatory

Pay Rate: $18.75 hour

Schedule:10am-6:40pm (Tuesdays at 2:00am/must be flexible to work at 2:00am when needed)

Days off : Saturday and Sunday (can change due to volume)
