Position Summary
The Senior Analyst - Disputes & eDiscovery provides advanced technical expertise and operational support for eDiscovery engagements. Reporting to the Manager, this role is integral in executing complex technical tasks across all phases of the eDiscovery lifecycle, from data collection to production. The Senior Analyst ensures high-quality outcomes by leveraging cutting-edge tools, adhering to best practices, and delivering exceptional client service.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Advisory
- Act as a technical expert for client engagements, providing guidance on eDiscovery workflows and solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored technical strategies that align with litigation objectives.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical updates and reports for stakeholders.
Technical Expertise and Data Analysis
- Analyze electronically stored information (ESI) to identify patterns, anomalies, and relevant data.
- Utilize advanced analytics and AI tools, such as predictive coding and TAR, to enhance data review processes.
- Configure and optimize eDiscovery platforms to support client requirements and improve efficiency.
Project Coordination
- Support project managers in developing detailed timelines, workflows, and technical deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, address technical challenges, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project execution.
Operational Excellence
- Standardize workflows to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Conduct quality control checks on technical deliverables to ensure reliability and precision.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including project specifications, findings, and best practices.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance eDiscovery processes.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and methodologies to improve service delivery.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to legal requirements, data security protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Identify potential risks in eDiscovery processes and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in eDiscovery or litigation technology, with demonstrated technical expertise, as well as trial services experience.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Relativity, Nuix, or similar platforms and advanced analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage complex technical tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

- Uphold confidentiality and data security in all engagements.
Working Conditions: You will be required to work in the office at minimum 3 days per week. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule. The details of your weekly schedule will be discussed further with your direct supervisor.
Pay Ranges:
This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith's pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.

- Chicago, Philadelphia, & Wilmington: $44.34-$59.52
- Tysons, Princeton, Washington DC: $47.25-$59.52
- New York, Los Angeles: $48.90-$61.61
