


As Deputy Director, you’ll take the lead on the day-to-day operations of the agency. You’ll oversee licensing operations, financial management, performance tracking, legislative implementation, and more, freeing the Executive Director to focus on external relations, CPA pipeline support and strategic outreach. You’ll also serve as Acting Executive Director in the Director’s absence, making this a critical leadership role with wide-reaching impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all business operations of the Board and coordinate across licensing and compliance teams.
- Serve as Deputy Director and assume Executive Director duties when needed.
- Collaborate with state agencies, industry organizations, and national boards.
- Oversee budget planning, financial controls, procurement, and contract management.
- Supervise and coach staff; support performance management and development.
- Ensure alignment with the Board’s strategic goals, DEI commitments, and key performance measures.
- Act as the agency’s communications lead—managing the website, social media, and external messaging.
- Direct legislative and rulemaking processes, acting as the Board’s Rules Coordinator.
