



Our client is the Brand Marketing & Creative Ops team of a fashion retailer seeking a Manager of Brand Content and Project Management with experience in photo shoot and video asset planning. This is a hybrid, 40 hours/week, 6.5 month role for parental leave coverage, starting early July and going through mid-late January, that will be onsite 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs) in the NYC office.
The Manager of Brand Content and Project Management will be responsible for Content Strategy and Asset Management as well as Project Management:
1. Content Strategy + Asset Management:
- Drive asset efficiency and a marketing- and creative-first shot list strategy, serving as the link between Marketing, Creative and cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Buying, PD, Licensees, and Wholesale) to align on tiered shot list needs
- Strategically plan content and ensure shots support campaign and product messaging based on global buys, retail, and site needs (Inline, Outlet, Wholesale, Japan, International), along with editorial goals
- Align on product objectives, storytelling and imagery needs, ensuring comprehensive asset coverage across global digital and in-store touchpoints, while participating in Site Wireframing and Retail Coordination meetings
- Lead the intricate creation and management of global cross-channel photo and video shot lists for Campaign, Studio On-Figure, and Still Life shoots, working with Global Marketing and Buying partners to negotiate, align and finalize shot lists
- Drive working sessions with Creative and Brand leadership to map planned shots for high-impact retail and digital placements
- Ensure all channel planning needs and use cases are accurately represented in the shot lists, including asset specs, objectives, and delivery time timelines are achieved
- Partner with Project Management Coordinator to provide necessary sample coordination support for marketing lead photo shoot productions (style outs, fittings, shoots)
- Provide shot list specific support during photo shoot style outs and fittings
- Champion the brand vision at seasonal photoshoots, ensuring accurate capture against shot lists
2. Seasonal Campaign Project Management:
- Partner on the development and management of the seasonal GTM calendars and campaign timelines, ensuring alignment and inputs with/from key stakeholders. Communicate timelines and key milestones to cross functional teams
- Drive seasonal projects directly with Brand Creative Ops and Design teams, managing creative review processes, timelines, ensuring high quality output and timely delivery
- Navigate seasonal concept approvals with design, marketing, creative, legal and business leads and act as the liaison to garner and supply all feedback
- Provide support on financial administration and invoice processing for seasonal asset creation.
The Manager of Brand Content and Project Management must have:
- 3+ years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, Branding, and Fashion within an in-house creative department, design studio and/or creative agency
- Strong knowledge of photography and video planning, motion projects, quick-turn production of social media assets
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in scrappy, fast-paced environments
- Strong project and time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
