As a Product Research Associate partnered with Aquent, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of athletic performance, working within a dynamic research environment to conduct groundbreaking studies. Your work will directly impact the development of innovative products, influencing how athletes train, compete, and achieve their goals.

This role offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical application. You will be at the forefront of discovery, using your expertise to conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the development of next-generation athletic technology. Prepare to make a tangible impact on the world of sport and fitness!

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct foundational research in kinesiology and biometrics to support innovation.
  • Utilize biomechanical and physiological equipment for leading-edge experiments.
  • Collect and analyze data, contributing to the research and development of new technologies.
  • Perform independent experiments and present findings at the department level.
  • Execute research projects, both applied and basic, aimed at delivering performance insights.
  • Conduct studies following prescribed procedures and methodology under the guidance of perception scientists.
  • Become familiar with research tools used for perception research.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, psychology, behavior, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions.
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience performing research with human subjects.
  • PhD in Biomechanics or Physiology or similar field plus 1 year of research experience, or a Master’s Degree plus 0-3 years of experience in lieu of a PhD.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $34.80 to $38.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
