Collaborate with talented professionals, experiment with new materials and techniques, and see your designs come to life in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the design team, you will:

  • Design innovative and visually appealing materials, as well as style and curate existing materials for various footwear projects.
  • Blend artistic skills with technical knowledge to design materials that enhance both aesthetics and functionality.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand functional specifications and end use, building consumer-right material solutions.
  • Present material palettes, concepts, and mood boards to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Utilize design software and tools to create and refine material concepts, creating prototypes and hand samples to test ideas.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate materials seamlessly into the overall design solution, considering form, function, and manufacturing processes.
  • Stay informed about sustainable and eco-friendly materials, integrating environmentally responsible options into design considerations.
  • Create comprehensive design CADs/tech packs to communicate design specifications to factories and suppliers.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of directly relevant work experience. One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Interest in learning AI design tools.
  • Experience with sewing machines, heat presses, screen printing, and other hands-on fabrication techniques.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.00 to $46.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
