Job Description:

Apex Systems is looking to hire a Database Engineer in Southlake, Texas.

This is a long-term, contract role.

• Analyzing performance and identifying areas for improvement (such as in the stored procs, etc.) .
• Creation of any database-related performance scripting.
• Assist with moving our Test Data Management practices forward, mining/creating test data, etc. via K2View.
• Must have methods for problem solving, have strong database experience, including index strategies, performance tuning and optimization and stored procedures.
• Must be able to create reports and write complex statements for large scale databases.
• Needs to be a good communicator (both written and verbal), be able to plan technical solutions, be self-motivated and have the ability to meet tight deadlines.
