Title: Asset Integrity and Corrosion Engineer
Location: Tulsa, OK or Houston, Tx
Duration: Full-time
Day-to-Day: The Asset Integrity and Corrosion Engineer will work closely with the Integrity and Corrosion Team, supporting various projects related to pipeline safety and corrosion management. Key responsibilities include:
- Report Writing: Preparing detailed reports based on collected data for review by a Senior Engineer and final approval by Asset Integrity and Corrosion
- Data Analysis: Analyzing cathodic protection (CP) data from field technicians (primarily in Excel format).
- Field Support: Assisting AFS Field Technicians with pipeline integrity and corrosion projects and data gathering, including going into the field on short notice if technicians are busy or for urgent client needs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background considered if strong CP experience is present). Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Pipeline Integrity or Corrosion will also be considered.
- Understanding of pipeline integrity and corrosion mechanisms, with a main focus on Cathodic Protection (CP).
- At least 1 year of experience focused on CP, ideally with some field experience.
- NACE Cathodic Protection Technician Level 1 (CP1) certification.
- Proficient computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
