Senior Business Analyst (Capital Markets/Wealth Management)
Apex Systems is a staffing and consulting firm and we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong communication and requirement gathering skills, strong product knowledge of Options, Margin products, and Derivatives, experience on Digital projects, and experience working on Agile teams to place at our client, a Big Five Bank.
Client: Big Five Bank
Contract: 6-month contract-to-hire (end goal is to move full-time)

Job Description:
The responsibilities of this Senior Business Analyst role includes: liaising with business users to analyze requirements and translate business needs into functional specification for development and testing; perform research through internal systems as well as public sources such as Bloomberg and the Internet in general. Assisting development with analysis of backlog items and working closely with the business on project tracking and SDLC management specifically for Digital Wealth Projects for Options, Margin, and Derivative products.
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to speak with Wealth Management business stakeholders and also collaborate and discuss requirements with technology stakeholders
- 5+ years of Wealth Management/Capital Markets experience; Understanding of Options, Derivatives, Margins, Margin loans, etc.
- 8+ years of Business Analyst experience working at enterprise financial corporations
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with Agile Development.
- Experience working on Digital projects
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to work through backlogs and create solutions pro-actively
