The Human Resources function is committed to excellence, service, integrity, fun, and accountability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills, along with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. A welcoming and engaging personality, along with strong interpersonal skills and empathy, is essential. The Assistant Human Resources Manager will serve as a positive and friendly representative of the HR team and the Hyatt brand in all interactions.
The ideal candidate for our Assistant Human Resources Manager will have prior experience in all aspects of Talent Acquisition.
The position responsibilities may include, although are not limited to:
- Post and un-post job Requisitions
- Source new Applicants
- Communicate with Applicants throughout the recruitment and onboarding process
- Work closely with Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City Leadership on Applicant status
- Represent Hyatt Regency at career fairs
- Facilitate New Hire Paperwork and coordinate New Hire Orientation sessions
- Oversee weekly open interviews
- Manage and maintain applicant flow logs
Qualifications
- Multi-system proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint)
- A strong desire to fulfill the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Professional presentation and demeanor
- Verbal and written Spanish skills preferred
- Previous Talent Acquisition Experience required
