Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for an administrative associate to provide office support for the registrar’s office and student services division.

Duties include completing general administrative work, including typing, scanning and filing documents; scheduling appointments; entering data into various computer systems; collecting and tracking all incoming official and unofficial transcripts; posting transfer credits and articulated credit and waivers; preparing and analyzing reports; mailing student notification letters; providing excellent customer service; working on projects across multiple departments; and providing coverage for the student services reception desk as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or the equivalent; two years of office experience; and excellent computer, organizational, human relations, and Microsoft Office skills. Preference will be given to candidates with an associate degree in office technology, secretarial science or a relevant field and bilingual English/Creole skills.

This is a full-time support staff position with excellent fringe benefits including participation in the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System. The days and hours of work for this position are Mon. – Thur., 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Fri., 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (1 hr. lunch). The starting hourly rate for this position will likely range from $18.82 to $24.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience with extremely well-qualified individuals toward the upper end of this range.
