The Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Washington is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Plastic Surgeon with fellowship training or equivalent experience in Microsurgery to join our dynamic faculty. About Our Division: UW Plastic Surgery consists of 15 plastic surgeons, three advanced practice providers, three fellows, and 28 integrated plastic surgery residents in a fully accredited training program. We serve as the primary resource for the WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho) affording us the opportunity to grow high-complexity surgical programs. Our division works across the full spectrum of institutions including an expanding quaternary referral center, a busy Level 1 trauma center, a world-leading childrens hospital, a vibrant community hospital, and a major regional Veterans Affairs medical center. Our cancer care and research benefit from strong partnership with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. Position Highlights:

Faculty appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level depending on experience and qualifications. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. This position will have an anticipated start date in Fall/Winter 2025. Clinical focus in breast reconstruction and microsurgical oncologic reconstruction with opportunities to grow areas of clinical interest. Supported leadership opportunities depending on experience and clinical interests including: Director of Lymphedema Center of Excellence Division of Plastic Surgery Director of Clinical Research Collaborative practice environment with multidisciplinary teams Teaching role with exceptional medical students, residents, and fellows Opportunity to develop and grow specific clinical and research interests Structured intramural research FTE support within the Department of Surgery to: Build a plastic surgery clinical/outcomes research core within the Division of Research Oversee the faculty clinical research program, provide structure and mentoring Guide the Division of Plastic Surgery research strategy Site of practice based at University of Washington Montlake Campus with opportunities at University of Washington Northwest Campus and Seattle Childrens Hospital No hand or craniofacial call responsibilities We Offer:

Competitive salary with guaranteed base (Assistant $370,008-$410,004, Associate $425,004-$500,004, Professor $500,004 $575,004). Base salaries at all ranks will be commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the University of Washington Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Other compensation associated with this position includes clinical productivity incentives through UWP. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in university benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by UWP practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
