The Chicago office of McGuireWoods seeks an Associate for the Labor & Employment Department.

Salary: $235,000 to $310,000
- Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of labor and employment law or commercial litigation experience.
- We are seeking candidates with a strong academic background and the ability to demonstrate top-notch legal research, analysis and writing abilities.
- Candidates should have experience litigating either employment, civil rights, or commercial matters in both state and federal courts.
- Experience with state and federal wage & hour and employment laws is preferred.
- Experience with educational institutions is a plus.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with client, business, and legal teams.
- Must have a strong academic record, excellent writing, and oral communication skills.
- Illinois State Bar is required.
