




Resp & Qualifications
PURPOSE:
Plans, organizes, and manages small to mid-scale projects for successful delivery of objectives, on time and within budget. Initiates, engages, and motivates cross-functional teams to deliver results. Identifies and mitigates risk and escalates as needed. Tracks progress and drives documentation to support project needs. Ensures end to end leadership for implementations, integration, business readiness and communications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Plans and designates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, tracks schedules, mitigates risks.
- Supports the Workplace Design, Projects and Communications Manager and Team with day-to-day operational tasks and related responsibilities including stakeholder engagement, intake, communication, change management, tracking and maintaining budgets and schedules. This is a key role needed to provide a bridge between the various workstreams within the Projects Team and Workplace in general. The resource need is critical to maintaining cohesiveness, being responsive, and having the ability to be proactive, with a focus on the workplace experience.
- Provides end to end project management support in terms of reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation for
medium-size projects. Acts as a liaison across all areas to ensure effective and efficient goals, scope, progress, and completion of projects. Coordinates issues throughout CareFirst, and externally when necessary, to promote accurately represented information. - Evaluates implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/regulations through the use of critical and creative thinking and recommends improvements.
- Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment. Drives outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture. Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including management and vendors. Leads the execution of the project.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no direct reports, however, may informally lead teams in a matrix environment.
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 3 years experience in project related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background and skills alignment with the following will be heavily considered:
- Commercial interiors project related work experience in design, construction, real estate, and or project management.
- Financial experience for project related budget tracking.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Microsoft projects.
- Organized, good communicator, strategic thinker, focused with the ability to work independently and on a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to exercise good judgment.
- Project planning and life cycle development.
- Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
Salary Range: $68,760 - $136,565

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilites of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration.
