We have an exciting career opportunity for an entry-level but high-impact Training and LMS Administrator as a strategic part of the Human Resources team and play a key role in how we onboard, develop, and empower our employees at Bluebird (BLBD).
JOB SUMMARY
This creative position will ensure a smooth and effective training platform, program and system blending instructional design, engaging program delivery, and technical LMS support (in partnership with Cornerstone). You’ll help shape a positive learning culture, making training easy, accessible, and meaningful for every employee from day one and throughout their career journey.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create Engaging Learning Experiences:
- Review and organize training plans design and develop training programs across the enterprise
- Assist developing, organizing, and delivering fun, impactful training programs for employees at all levels
- Prepare and implement appropriate and modern training methods per case including simulations mentoring on the job training professional development classes and more
- Educate employees on available training opportunities and provide decision-making information to leaders
- Perform needs assessment on an entire organization level and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
- Implement accepted education principles and explore new training methods and techniques
- Develop clear, effective educational aids and materials
- Review and analyze instructional effectiveness and prepare reports determining the impact of training and participation, completion rates, and feedback to track program effectiveness and inform future training
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design
- Manage curriculum database and training records through LMS
- Organize train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
- Oversee in-house training facilities and equipment
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors regarding training logistics and updates
Champion our LMS:
- Be the go-to person for our LMS, including manage users, permissions, content and security settings
- Ensure training programs are properly integrated and managed within the LMS
- Upload, organize, and manage course content within the LMS, ensuring it aligns with instructional design principles
- Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and address any technical problems related to the LMS
- Monitor LMS performance, generate reports, and analyze data to assess training effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to training and the LMS
- Stay up-to-date on LMS best practices and emerging technologies, and assist with upgrades and updates
- Collaborate with trainers, instructional designers, and IT teams to ensure the LMS supports organizational training objectives
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES FOR SUCCESS
- Experience with learning management systems and web delivery tools
- Good experience of providing complete full training cycle assessing needs plan develop coordinate monitor and evaluate
- Excellent knowledge of instructional design for adult learners
- Close familiarity with traditional and modern job development methods and techniques
- Close familiarity with MS Office
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- BS degree in Communications, Training, or related degree
- 2+ years' experience as a trainer, educator or other relevant responsibilities
- All candidates must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Java Script programming
- Social Media / website development
