We are hiring a Creative Designer who will be a key member of the Marketing team. The Creative Designer communicates and promotes the Berlin Packaging brand through compelling graphic design and strategic multi-channel marketing initiatives to drive consumer demand. Oversees all graphic design needs, facilitates marketing campaigns from start to finish, and creates innovative sales/prospecting tools while collaborating with all functions within the company.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, and help sales achieve growth objectives.
- Designing Marketing collateral such as logos and creative design, brochures, presentations, infographics, webpages, and much more.
- Create and execute Marketing assets for Berlin Packaging brands.
- Review, maintain, and evolve brand standards and visual identity.
- Collaborate with Marketing Design Manager and Brand Director in brainstorming/creative sessions.
- Collaborate with all departments and divisions to best hit their goals.
- Fulfill employee portion of the Berlin Values by demonstrating a strong work ethic, teamwork, loyalty, innovation, productivity, and driving profitable results.
Required Skills and Experience
- BS/BFA in Visual Communications Design or equivalent
- 5+ years of related marketing design experience
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage time and resources on multiple simultaneous projects with aggressive deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (strong PowerPoint experience)
- Working knowledge of AI content generation (Midjourney, Runway ML, Krea, Vizcom, Newarc, etc.)
- Basic working knowledge of 3D Design & Rendering (Cinema 4D, Blender, Adobe Substance)
- Basic working knowledge of web design (html/css) as well as no-code web & interactive tools (Webflow, Figma Prototyping, Framer)
- Motion graphics and multimedia design experience a plus
- DSLR photography/lighting equipment and skills is a plus
- Ability to travel to off-site locations for design-related needs
Working Environment:
- Corporate office environment at our Chicago Headquarters. We are currently located at 525 W. Monroe St. We will be relocating to a new office space in the Merchandise Mart in 2026.
