




In this role, you will support product development and management of Ameriprise Bank Home Lending products. You will focus on product design, development and implementation and contribute to the successful growth of Ameriprise Bank. Initially, you will be an individual contributor with potential future leadership opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and execution of the home lending product roadmap, including enhancements, launching banking products tailored to the needs of Ameriprise Financial investment clients and other prospective clients.
- Drive multiple initiatives from concept through development and market launch.
- Develop, implement, and maintain product features and improvements.
- Collaborate with business partners to establish service, sales, marketing, risk-management, and other end-to-end product management processes.
- Manage the day-to-day product suite and assist with the financial forecast, pricing, Power BI dashboards, and the customer experience.
- Responsible for accurate and well-designed content for internal and external audiences, including writing, reviewing, and editing of communication materials and product data.
- Deliver results through a matrixed organization including technology, operations, digital, finance, compliance, legal, risk, marketing, sales, field leadership and other partners.
- Perform competitive research and keep updated on deposit product market trends
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' experience in mortgage product management with a broker-dealer affiliated bank, or national or large regional bank or relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ICE Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP), and other financial technology vendors
- Experience working with quality control systems such as Metric Stream
- Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Brokerage business experience or knowledge
- Proven success leading the development of product enhancements that reside on partner vendor core platforms or services
- Product orientation with a strong sense of ownership and ability to exercise sound business judgement in line with strategic goals
- The ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete work within a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to empower others
- Experience across all aspects of product management including product lifecycle management, pricing, service, sales, marketing, process, risk-management, and advisor engagement
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills which allow you to effectively present to both business and technology partners and build executive ready PowerPoint decks and other written materials
- Leadership experience by delivering outcomes through key partnerships (i.e. technology, operations, finance, marketing, vendors)
- Strong financial competence and analysis; ability to understand and interpret financial data, reports, and insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to identify trends and issues and potential ways to solve the issue
- Understanding of the competitive banking and home lending landscape

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $98,100 - $132,400 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
