Job Description

 Responsible for supporting and working with management team on compliance and annual projects.  Running reports and queries from various systems to provide required information for pension clients.  Dealing with government agencies and customers – both in writing and phone. Supervise Retirement staff.


  • Review completed pension applications to ensure benefits are processed in compliance with specific Plan provisions
  • Respond to written and phone inquiries from participants, joint boards, attorneys, auditors and government agencies regarding any open inquiry or problem in a timely manner
  • Use system tools to extract and analyze data
  • Work with other departments to best coordinate required information
  • Supervise subordinates: assign tasks, maintain office professionalism, monitor performance, etc.
  • Completion of reoccurring tasks and projects.

Job Requirements :

  • Some college
  • 3 to 4 years prior experience, preferably pension
  • Experience with Vitech system is preferred.
  • Managing staff
  • Making sound and timely decisions always bearing in mind the needs of the department
  • Knowledge of daily operations
  • Time Management/ Ability to work independently
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – especially Excel and Word
