Masters or equivalent experience, PhD preferred
3~5 years relevant experience in field of research as administrator and/or investigator
Experience or knowledge of research design

The Senior Patient Centered Outcomes Research Coordinator designs, implements, coordinates and disseminates nationally patient centered and population health outcomes research activities to support Company investigators in advancing scientific evidence and knowledge to help patients and their health care providers make critical informed decisions.

Responsibility, Authority, Reporting Relationship
The Senior Patient Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) Coordinator is a more autonomous role within PCOR which includes responsibilities of: research mentorship, planning and implementation of investigator~initiated and grant research with internal and external collaborators with the assigned research centers as well as system~wide. Manages existing and new PCOR programs (e.g, research internship and volunteers program). Collaborates with investigators (i.e., physicians, nurses, administrators, fellows, etc.) and external collaborators/sponsors in the design and conduct of patient centered outcomes and health economics research at the system level as well as local level. Serves as research coordinator on assigned patient center outcomes research studies. The Senior PCOR Coordinator supports the PCOR Manager in the development and implementation of methodologies and reporting of metrics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational strategic outcomes for patient centered outcomes research. The Senior PCOR Coordinator helps ensure the regulatory compliance of investigators with Good Clinical Practice and International Conference on Harmonization Guidelines, FDA Guidance, Institutional and departmental research guidelines (e.g., IRB, research compliance office and AHC policies and standard operating procedures), and federal, state, and local agencies as well as any requirements stipulated by the study collaborator/sponsor. Ensures confidentiality and compliance are maintained at all times.

Ensures regulatory compliance of investigator~initiated research and facilitates education and training of investigators and research team
Works collaboratively with investigators, executive management and external collaborators to support investigator~initiated research, supervising study activities as the research knowledge leader within local and system wide projects.
Provides support and act as project lead for day~to~day operations and activities to support or conduct investigator~initiated research implementation and ongoing study conduct throughout the research center
Conducts high level complex analyses and provides analysis support to investigators
Train new staff and attend and participate in educational programs, meetings, and assigned committees

Education: MS, Epidemiology, or MPH, MS Statistics, PhD

Number of years-3 years or 4 -5 years in outcomes research.  Working with data-can be in a research setting/university setting


Work hours: 7-8 up to 4 – 5 (There is no work from home at this point)

Highly Collaborate, all open, work as much together, team work,  huddles to work through problems.  Lots of interaction.
