Position Purpose

Were looking for an administrative coordinator comfortable working in a sales-driven environment. This position supports the Sales Department with rental needs for a mix of street sweepers, safe dig equipment, sewer cleaners, refuse trucks, snow removal units and vacuum excavators. Its a fast-paced environment, and the candidate should work well under pressure, possess the ability to reason with all personality types, take direction from others, multi-task and meet short timelines.


Essential Job Functions and Basic Duties

Rental Sales Functions:

  • Work directly with customers to fulfill equipment rental needs: coordinate rentals, execute contracts and resolve issues
  • Support a large sales team by providing rental unit support for prospective buyers
  • Educate customers on equipment specifications, safety concerns, and proper use of equipment
  • Document rental use and billing
  • Research new leads
  • Contact prospective customers (cold calling) and develop new accounts
  • Develop and execute rental-purchase agreements

Administrative:

  • Invoice new and recurring rentals
  • Track and maintain accurate fleet, customer and billing information
  • Provide strong administrative skills: answering phones (all rental inquiries), scheduling pickups and deliveries, and processing paperwork
  • General rental calls (all inquiries)
  • Order new stock equipment units
  • Work internally with shop to prep units for rental
  • Calculate sales commission

Growth: This is a new position with the opportunity to develop and enhance certain systems within the company.

Opportunities include:

  • Maintain a rental dashboard and data tracking process.
  • Develop, document and implement a unified rental process company-wide.
  • Define marketing strategies to increase awareness of the rental program.
  • Expand rental program to more additional locations.
. Requirements:

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and successfully
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage highly detail-oriented job responsibilities
  • Team oriented attitude
  • Excellent people and customer relations skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include Excel and Word preferred
  • Parts, service or warranty administration experience strongly preferred
  • 4-year degree or combination of secondary education and equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to work with little daily supervision
  • Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions
