Summary:

ZipRecruiter is seeking a passionate and results driven Recruiter to help drive the growth objectives at our Santa Monica HQ for creative and corporate talent initiatives across Marketing, Product, Design, Business Operations & Analytics, Finance & Accounting and Human Resources. You will work with a high performance Talent Acquisition team supporting the organization that simplifies the hiring process by connecting employers to job seekers with easy to use software and algorithmic candidate matching technology.

As a valued partner to your internal clients, you will build strong relationships to effectively execute the recruiting process by consulting with key stakeholders, influencing hiring decisions and delivering on strategic talent goals.  This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a smart, fun, collaborative TA team with significant impact on the business by recruiting for innovative talent.  

Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruiting to proactively source, screen, interview, qualify, test, and recommend talent for roles ranging from Internships to Executive level
  • Leverage direct sourcing strategies and channels to recruit passive and active candidates
  • Maintain vendor relations with agency partners and ensure the timely processing of internal referrals
  • Identify, plan, manage and attend networking events, including campus, tech and professional career fairs
  • Strengthen and develop campus relationships with university partners
  • Maintain the Internship program and stay on top of recruiting collateral and swag inventory by working closely with internal creative teams
  • Partner with HR, Finance and Legal as needed to drive the offer process
  • Ensure a smooth recruiting process for hiring teams and a seamless candidate experience
  • Keep up-to-date with new recruiting methods, industry trends and best practice
  • Support projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years of full life-cycle recruiting and sourcing experience in a search firm or corporate recruiting environment, preferably in the tech space
  • Experience with ATS, Greenhouse highly desirable
  • Proven background in using innovative research and proactive sourcing methods
  • Ability to act as a consultant through the hiring process, immigration, compliance, compensation, leveling guidelines, etc.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Collaborative team player with outstanding communication skills, including interpersonal, verbal, and written
  • Ability to interact comfortably and professionally in a fast paced environment with all levels of candidates and management, including C-Suite 
  • Knowledgeable about basic California employment law and HR practices
