Product Manager - Servicing

Responsibilities:

  • Builds the product roadmap (current and future capabilities) supporting his/her domain: Fosters an open, trusted channel of communication with business and vendors. Strives to become a subject matter expert.
  • Product Ownership: Demonstrates new functionality to showcase achievements. Understands and is able to explain the Business Goals being implemented by the feature team in each release. Applies effort as needed to learn new products / technologies. Working with interlocking teams to resolve questions, issues and conflicts around requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: creates comprehensive documentation with the help of the business and engineering team and factors those into behavior driven development styled acceptance criteria so as to increase functional integration testing coverage. Experiment with the product, conducts exploratory testing and leverages defects as input for continuous improvement.
  • Delivery: Understand Business Goals and drive delivery of those with the engineering team through clear, achievable product increments by partnering with the various stakeholders (PdMs, SAs, Business and Engineering).
  • Boost Feature Team Efficiency: Creates and maintains a Prioritized Backlog with N+3 sprints worth of Features. Is eager to mature and perfect requirements to unleash development productivity/throughput; allows for sprint delivery with minimum need for clarification/rework. Gauges the required level of backlog detail based on feature team needs.
  • Product Backlog Quality: creates and maintains detailed and well written backlog work items for consistent communication with all interested parties. Utilizes systems of record (TFS, Tableau, etc) to measure progress and quality.
  • Communicates with precision: Crafts high-quality and detailed diagrams, reports and presentations as needed. Masters verbal communication and presentations in various forums. Maintains current product documentation.

§ Works with IT counterparts and business partners to understand their new/changing business goals, how they are being implemented through business processes work on solutioning the needs into IT. Demonstrate new functionality to showcase achievements.

§ Partner with the Scrum team members, program managers, solution architects and business on transforming Product Vision into Product Releases: Facilitates Releases’ target scope and prioritization discussions with various forums by balancing business needs & time to market with known constraints.

Required Skills, Behaviors and Experience:

§ Proven, hands-on experience with designing business systems: Some technical background allowing the candidate to successfully engage in the design of solutions comprising different technologies: .Net and MS SQL Server.

§ Inquisitiveness, enthusiasm and willingness to learn new products/tech stacks.

§ Experience working as a Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner.

§ Experience working with external software vendors

§ Impeccable attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

§ 6+ years of relevant experience.

§ Proven track record specifying detailed system requirements/user stories

§ Ability to handle multiple projects areas with changing priorities and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

§ Is able to work in flexible hours to accommodate time-zone differences (Bucharest, Austin, Ireland, Hyderabad, Porto Alegre).

Desired Skills / Experience:

§ Certified Product Owner Credential

§ Experience in the financial services \Leasing areas.

§ Experience with implementing \customizing off the shelf products in large organizations
