Our world-class Marketing team in Lancaster, PA is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to develop and execute marketing strategies and objectives by identifying and implementing new and improved methods of communication and by employing effective marketing communications tactics across print and web environments. You will also be expected to create new product and program concepts and will oversee creative and commercialization tactics through implementation.


In addition, you will also be responsible for managing projects related to product and program launches and communication plans, and for providing support to other marketing communication initiatives as needed.


Responsibilities of the Marketing Communications Specialist:

  • Create and execute yearly marketing communications plans, from ideas through copy and graphics, for a broad range of print and web/e-tactics including literature, sampling, merchandising, promotions, newsletters, publicity, case studies, emails, social media, and others
  • Develop and implement product and program launches
  • Perform benchmarking activities with external firms and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with marketing and product managers to establish and execute communications approaches to achieve desired sales results 
  • Oversee inventory and expense management for specific marketing programs and activities
  • Create, monitor, and track budgets and report spend on quarterly basis
  • Integrate marketing communication messaging across all marketing and advertising resources
  • Develop marketing communications across electronic platforms; assist with newsletter, direct mail, advertising, and catalog and data page creation/editing, data checking and proofreading
  • Implement public relations programs, press releases, online events, and social media tactics
  • Plan and execute trade show support, including preparation of materials for rep use
  • Participate in market research and design of new specification and selection tools
  • Coordinate marketing duties including fulfillment for advertising, back of book inquiries, online presence, and other sales literature
  • Employ process improvement tools to achieve result simpler, faster, and better results


Required Qualifications and Education of the Marketing Communications Specialist:

  • 5+ years of previous communications experience with e-platforms and web-based technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications from four-year College or university
  • Ability to develop ideas, oversee graphic design, and implement marketing communications tactics and initiatives across print and web environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Project management experience


Preferred Qualifications of the Marketing Communications Specialist:

  • Previous B2B experience with our target customers
  • Ability to understand CAD files, Revit, and web standard files used by our customers
  • Experience with content and data management systems such as Rhythmyx, eProd, Omniture and Adobe Suite
  • Knowledge of Ceilings, Suspension Systems, and Commercial Building Industry
