Job Description

Position Summary:

The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining chemical equipment for scheduled and non-scheduled downs, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Schedule: Day Shift; Monday - Friday

Personnel Requirements:

  • Strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude in regard to Equipment and Set up, previous chemical, water, gas, equipment experience or Wet Process Fab Equipment
  • Respond to Client requests via email/verbal with regards to scheduling tool downs, upcoming PMs, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Understanding Semiconductor environment and safety processes
  • Electrical work will involve matching connectors, labeling, roll up of multiple cables and install in clean manner.
  • Understand Plastic (PFA, PVC, PVDF) Plumbing type connections and processes, along with standard mechanical connections
  • Controls experience / understanding – must be able to work thru touch screen control panel for verifying operation.

Operations and Maintenance:

  • Maintain Chemical Equipment for scheduled and non -schedule downs, Preventative Maintenance, Troubleshooting *Including Filter Change outs, Valve replacement, pump repairs, etc.
  • Troubleshooting, answer alarms, verify delivery, etc.
  • Record and Document all maintenance, alarms, escalations
  • Provide all shift notes and issues for shift pass down
  • May be involved with Chemical Drum loading and unloading of distribution equipment.
