ESNA is looking for an Engineering Intern to deliver process improvements in our growing business.

ESNA is seeking an Engineering Intern to monitor and refine processes in a high paced, high volume manufacturing business to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute core Engineering functions: Contract Review, Process Router Building, Standard time determination and maintenance, creation and maintenance of work instructions
  • Recommend and implement improvements to documentation and processes associated with core Engineering functions
  • Analyze quality nonconformance data and work cross functionally with the Quality and Operations teams to increase Right First Time (RFT) metrics
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an engineering discipline at an accredited university
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to communicate verbally, read, and write in English
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the Manufacturing Industry
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Demonstrated capacity for leadership
  • Experience working on CNC lathes or mills
  • Experience with drafting and CAD
  • Experience working in a business that holds AS9100, ISO9001, or equivalent quality certificate(s)
