Job Description

Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and improvement of Supply Chain & Procurement capabilities across ALSAC to increase the efficiency of organizational workflow, enhance the quality of each individual donor experience, and increase the effectiveness of our fundraising initiatives. Accountable to design, develop and lead enterprise change initiatives to optimize procurement and supply chain capabilities across all spend categories owned by Strategic Sourcing & Supply (SSS). Responsible to drive improvement in process excellence, control and standardization, utilizing a broad suite of personal capabilities including Lean methodologies, project management, process mapping & analysis, data visualization and analytics. Responsible to lead both customer facing and internally focused change initiatives to further develop ALSAC procure to pay/source-to-contract lifecycles to add measurable value to the enterprise.Strong collaboration, communication, process design, data management, and sourcing acumen are essential. The Director - Supply Chain Integration must be able to influence senior business leaders in a positive manner to achieve organizational goals, develop strong partnerships with external suppliers and lead design and delivery of new capabilities across the organization.

  • Requires thorough knowledge of Supply Chain technologies, strategies and process;
  • Ability to speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal and external relations;
  • Ability to understand extremely complex verbal or written instruction;
  • Broad knowledge of supply chain and procurement strategies and familiarity with financial costing and budgeting;
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in business/information system and 10 years of progressive business/supply chain experience with a minimum of 5 years in a management capacity.
  • Master's degree preferred.
