As a member of the Finance - Business Architecture Program team, you will work closely with Financial Information Reporting Solutions (FIRS) team, partner with the Risk and Finance Technology team and the various Program Management teams to drive the Finance vision of the Finance and Risk Roadmap to fruition. Specific focus will be on the build out of the new Finance Reporting Infrastructure (FRI).


This position is within the FRI - Implementation team and will lead the development of requirements for (Finance) Regulatory Reporting, leveraging FRI. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Lead/manage a team of up to 1-2 resources focused on developing requirements and an operating model for (Finance) Regulatory Reporting, leveraging FRI

  • Set and manage project scope, resourcing requirements, timelines, risks/issues/assumptions and dependencies

  • Manage an end to end project plan inclusive of sourcing, requirements, operating model, testing, and technology activities


  • Support the development and documentation of a detailed end to end operating model by partnering with relevant stakeholders; this includes...


    • Workflows/Process Maps

    • RACI (responsibilities) Charts / Interaction Model

    • Use Cases

    • Identification of updates to the FRI - Consolidated Run Book

    • Inventory of Adjustments inclusive of requests for new templates

  • Support the development, revision and finalization of detailed business and functional requirements, inclusive of workflows and use cases, through partnering with relevant stakeholders

  • Identify FRI Configuration modifications (e.g. Reconciliation) and implementation checklist

  • Present key documents & lead discussions with diverse stakeholder audiences in order to seek agreement on proposed Regulatory Reporting requirement and operating model artifacts

  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in order to influence and facilitate multiple work streams

  • Monitor and recalibrate Regulatory Release scope as necessary

  • Contribute to select testing and implementation deliverables

  • Engage with the FRI Technology team to align business requirements with technical solutions

  • Maintain a robust Regulatory communication and governance plan


Experience


  • Bachelor's degree required, CPA / CFA helpful

  • 10+ years of financial services experience, preferably with project management experience; internal JPMorgan experience preferred

  • Solid understanding of financial reporting processes, infrastructure and systems

  • Experience in the requirements gathering and documentation process

Communication / Influence


  • Excellent ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge, and confidently speak about these processes

  • Ability to lead and influence without having positional authority, and communicate effectively at many levels of the organization including senior management

  • Proven ability to work across diverse groups, build consensus and execute the agreed plans

  • Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships and gain consensus on key decisions
