Overview

The Coordinator of Employment Supports oversees a community based employment program serving adults with developmental disabilities. The Coordinator of Employment Services supervises a team of Employment Facilitators and assists individuals to set goals and report on outcomes. This position is a Monday-Friday First shift position.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a program model consistent with the vision of community employment
  2. Support the development of valued community roles and personal relationships.
  3. Implement all procedures that ensure health, safety, and individual well being.
  4. Monitor and insure the implementation of all prescribed medical and medication protocols.
  5. Implement and monitor procedures that ensure physical safety and cleanliness of the program.
  6. Coordinate and secure necessary transportation resources; provide access as needed
  7. Develop, review and complete all required documentation.
  8. Communicate all pertinent information to all stakeholders.
  9. Participate in supervision, team, and other related meetings.
  10. Provide overall leadership, direction, budget management and resource allocation.
  11. Interview, hire and facilitate the professional development of staff in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
  12. Develop long and short term program goals in accordance with the agency's ROM process
  13. Acquire and maintain all required certifications.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

BA with one year supervisory experience in a vocational setting. Additional experience working in vocational programs with individuals with developmental disabilities may be substituted for education. Valid drivers license, a willingness to transport individuals served in community and a high school diploma/GED is required. Physical stamina required.
