Essential Responsibilities
- Pick items from inventory and ensure accuracy in picking items by verifying product codes, quantities, and descriptions
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping,
- Utilize the company's ERP system to enter and retrieve shipping information
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
- Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and shipping manifests and maintain records of shipped items
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Assist with receiving and inventory control tasks, including restocking shelves and conducting cycle counts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics role preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft office software
- Familiarity with Inventory Management software and ERP systems is desired
- A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required. HAZMAT certification preferred
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
