The Corporate Communications team at a large Energy Company focuses on delivering high-quality communication solutions. They manage the digital experience, including web content management, user experience design, and strategic communications. The team values strong relationships, data analysis, and efficient responses to stakeholder needs. They are looking for a Web Specialist to support the Corporate Communications Team.
Essential Functions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to implement digital content and strategies.
- Administering SharePoint Online sites, developing guidelines, and maintaining training materials.
- Managing website and intranet content and design.
- Providing site layout, content development, and platform assistance.
- Implementing website and intranet content consistent with branding and style guidelines.
- Analyzing content needs and consumption data to optimize content.
- Analyzing website and intranet performance, accessibility, and accuracy.
- Developing strategies for website and intranet enhancements.
- Collaborating with development teams to scope, prioritize, and test website enhancements.
- Testing and improving website functionality.
- Developing optimization processes and strategy recommendations.
- Managing the design and development of web pages and intranet.
- Monitoring industry trends and providing recommendations to improve user experience.
- Researching, writing, and editing content for web pages as needed.
- Joining crisis/emergency teams and providing after-hours support.
- Serves on the emergency response communications team. May work extensive hours at CenterPoint Energy locations during a crisis response.
- Performing other job-related duties.
Requirement: HTML, webpage development in SharePoint
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
