Full Job Description
Job Title: Visual Merchandising Designer
Location: Fully Remote (Los Angeles-based preferred; must work West Coast hours)
Duration: July 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Rate: $38 - $43/hour Our beauty client is seeking a talented Visual Merchandising Designer to join their team! This is a remote freelance position focused primarily on visual merchandising with occasional graphic design support. Key Responsibilities:

Rate: $38 - $43/hour Our beauty client is seeking a talented Visual Merchandising Designer to join their team! This is a remote freelance position focused primarily on visual merchandising with occasional graphic design support. Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Creative Director
- Focus on visual merchandising (approx. 75%)
- Support ad hoc graphic design needs (approx. 25%) including:
- Event banners
- Product one-pagers
- Postcards and other collateral
- Create fixture renders (Photoshop is fine; 3D rendering software not required) Requirements:
- Strong experience in visual merchandising and working with dielines
- Agile, adaptable work style; able to juggle multiple projects with a positive attitude
- Experience with Ulta visual merchandising is a huge plus
- Additional plus: experience with Sally Beauty, Walmart, Walgreens, or CVS
- Comfortable reviewing print proofs and providing feedback
- Strong sense of typography and composition
- Familiarity with shopper navigation, fixture systems, and displays such as:
- In-line fixtures
- Gondolas
- End caps
- Free-standing displays
- Trays, towers, etc.
- Knowledge of Wrike project management software is a bonus Tech Requirements:
- Must have own laptop
- Must have access to Adobe Creative Suite
