On Call Requirements: None Description:
Performs diagnostic cardiac sonography examinations with a sub-specialty in fetal cardiac sonography examinations, as well as cardiology procedures to provide data for diagnosis of disease and injuries in accordance with all applicable standards, regulation and licensing requirements.
Maintains a close working relationship with fetal cardiologists and nurse coordinators. Qualifications:
Education:
Graduation from a CAAHEP or ACCSC accredited cardiac sonography program or equivalent or 10 years experience in cardiac ultrasound. Certification Requirements:
ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatric (RDCS PE) or CCI Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS).
ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Fetal (RDCS FE).
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association. Experience:
Must be able to perform complex pediatric congenital echoes as well as fetal echoes.
Six (6) years full time pediatric cardiac sonography.
Endorsement from fetal echo physicians along with input from the medical directors (echo lab and fetal echo).
Philips Echo machines and Siemens Syngo Dynamics as our PACS system.
