Summary of Position Duties
The Transmission Analyst Resource Scheduler is responsible for providing leadership and coordination over project resource assignments so that work is completed within budget and on time, while meeting or exceeding the needs of the customers.This individual also serves as the liaison between resources and Project Management/Controls to support project work plans which incorporate scoping, scheduling, cost, and quality goals. The Resource Scheduler works closely with their assigned disciplines to utilize resources to update progress on projects and facilitate conflict resolution when needed.
Job Requirements
Job Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field).
- Project Management, Engineering or Construction experience preferred.
- Power Delivery experience preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) License is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Understanding of the project management gated process
- Experience working with scheduling and project management tools
- Experience in Primavera/P6 is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (Database management is a plus)
- Experience with large project teams in implementing project controls programs is preferred
- Proven organizational skills
- Proven communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Strong analytical skills to identify problem areas in resource allocation and utilization
- Strong risk management skills to evaluate scheduling/resource alternatives and determine viable solutions

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and update project resource assignments within Engineering, Design, Construction, Land Engineering and Land Acquisition for the Land, Lines and Substation disciplines.
- Prepare Primavera P6 project schedule reports and facilitate monthly and bi-weekly “greaseboard” meetings with internal and external clients to identify project resource challenges, schedule exceptions/variances, downstream schedule variance impacts, procurement delays, and conflict resolution.
- Provide 12-month and 18-month forecasts to stakeholders to assist in future resource planning.
- Proactively identify scheduling gaps in each assigned discipline and engage key stakeholders, customers, and strategic partners to fill those gaps and adjust resources and schedules in a cost-effective manner.
- Provide support to our Long-Range Planning team on project activity schedules & resource utilization for 3 – 5 year forecasts.
