Traffic Coordinator - 12 months+!
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 months (and can extend from there!)
Hours per week: 40
Hybrid: Yes, 3 days per week on-site (generally Tues, Wed, Thurs). 2 days remote.
Rate Range: $25-$35 per hour
Our client, a major airliner in Atlanta, has an immediate long term freelance need for a Traffic Coordinator to work with a strong project managing team! You will be responsible for the review and initial build of requests coming through the Integrated Operations team.
You will use traffic management knowledge to support the function of their Project Management Organization (PMO) that supports Strategic Marketing Programs and execution of their annual plan. This includes planning and scheduling initiatives, tracking and reporting on progress, communicating with stakeholders and project managers, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiative Planning and Scheduling:
- Monitoring Marketing Request Queue
- Run Bi-Weekly Request Queue Standup Meetings
- Coordinate handoff of approved requests to project managers
- Works closely with PMO Managers and Focus Area Leads
- Actively participate in monthly planning and operations meetings
- Support Focus Area Leads with large scale request processing
Project Management Support:
- Monitor request progress, follow from new to ready to convert
- Ensure the efficient flow of approved requests to project managers
- Escalate urgent requests as needed
- Support Project Managers through training on the Integrated Operations Unified Intake process
Resource Management:
- Monitor the bandwidth of Project Managers and works with leads on appropriate assignments
- Completes initial assignments of Project Managers within Workfront
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience in a Traffic Coordinator role.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be good at problem-solving and have a detail-oriented approach to work.
- Knowledge of project management software is essential. Familiarity with Adobe Workfront is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills are important.
This is a 40 hour a week, freelance opportunity that requires being onsite near the Atlanta airport ~3 days a week.
