Better Living Components is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to help track and manage our materials inventory-including lumber, hangers, and other hardware-across our yard and warehouse. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can confidently navigate Inventory Software and Excel spreadsheets, and wants a flexible schedule of about 2-3 hours per day.

What You'll Do:

Conduct routine physical counts of raw materials and hardware
Record inventory receipts accurately using Excel and other tracking tools
Monitor open purchase orders and ensure proper documentation
Report low stock, discrepancies, or damaged items to the manager
Walk and work across yard and warehouse areas to access materials
Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures
Support the team with other duties as needed

Requirements:

What You Bring:

Experience with inventory control or materials tracking
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively

Physical Aspects:

Comfortable walking on uneven terrain and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions outdoors

Schedule: Part-time, approx. 2-3 hours/day (flexible)
Work Environment: Outdoor and warehouse-based
