Position type: Full Time / Contract
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Richmond, VA

As an IT Recruiter you will:

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the requirements of each position.
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards and social media platforms.
Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media, and other platforms.
Screen candidates' resumes and job applications.
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods.
Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, aptitudes and vets candidate credentials.
Onboard new employees to become fully integrated.
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
May attend job fairs to promote open positions and recruit new talent.
Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
Promote the company's reputation as the 'best place to work'.

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter and specifically for information technology, technology infrastructure and information security roles.
Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g., phone, Teams, and structured).
Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting and Boolean search).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong decision-making skills.
BS in Human Resources Management, IT, or a relevant degree (preferred)
Additional HR or recruiting certifications (preferred)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $40hr W2-$45hr W2
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
