Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, user-centered content for a diverse audience of online sellers, following established style guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies and create impactful resources.
- Participate in content management efforts, process development, and quality governance.
- Work independently on multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Create clear and concise documentation for complex technical and business subjects.
- Write UI text in collaboration with product and UI designers.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, technical writing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience as a technical writer, editor, or content strategist within a large global enterprise.
- Strong editorial background with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing content projects, including review and localization.
- 2+ years of experience with a markup language such as HTML or XML.
- Ability to solve problems and thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Working knowledge of Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience working with product and UI designers and writing UI text.
- Experience creating content for translation and localization; multilingualism a plus.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and SEO principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Project management experience.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30.62 to $34.03 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
