​​​The Talent Enablement Lead owns and oversees the planning and coordination of internal and external communications strategy for Talent, including quality assurance reviews. Serves as the expert in telling Talent’s story across the enterprise. Partners with Corporate Communications to distribute and sequence enterprise-wide messaging. Responsible for the development, management, and dissemination of communications standards, requirements, and best practices related to all written deliverables. Ensures that the Talent organization strategic pillars, purpose, mission and values are reflected in all Talent messaging.​​

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Owns the Talent communications planning and quality assurance strategy, ensuring that messaging aligns with the strategic priorities of Talent, HR and the enterprise. communication execution. This work will include telling the story of Talent with a regular cadence of communications campaigns, proactively identifying and maintaining regular communications to be used with the HRLT and beyond. Establishes and evolves the Talent communications strategy to provide visibility into Talent initiatives, organizational announcements, etc. and to ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards related to branding and messaging. Coordinates all tasks associated with communications plans, ensuring messaging support for all Talent projects. Proactively provides counsel and guidance to Talent verticals, LOB partners, and vendors develop messaging related to Talent communications strategy, Support the Talent pipeline of projects and related to change management strategy, identifying the best approach to providing regular communications, updates, developing and managing communications plans to be distributed to the business and/or internal Talent teammates. Partner with Knowledge Governance & Risk Lead to identify content that needs maintenance and coordinate that work, as needed. Serve as Subject Matter Expert and reviewer for Talent Acquisition knowledge content in partnership with the Knowledge Governance & Risk Lead (job aids, reference guides, etc.). Build Communication and Engagement Strategy for Talent Organization Craft and distribute communications to Talent organization announcing updates, new processes, system outages, etc. Maintain Talent training calendar overlaying other training including those being offered across the enterprise, HR and Talent sessions. Coordinate and facilitate training to Talent teammates. Be an expert in telling our story and assist in senior level presentation development. Build and manage repository of documentation necessary for Talent teammates to perform their job. Develop and maintain Talent onboarding plans outlining required training for new teammates. Oversee automated communications to candidates, hiring managers and Talent teammates distributed as part of Talent lifecycle.

Partner with leaders across the organization to ensure all communications appropriately reflect Truist’s purpose, mission and values.

Required Qualifications:

1. 8 years of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Demonstrated corporate communications internal and external message development and project management.
3. Strong partner service orientation and proven ability to partner across the enterprise with leaders at all levels.
4. Experience building communications plans and proactively implementing a communications strategy
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
6. Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a results-driven approach; and to prioritize on a consistent basis in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
7. Experience working with a team of individual producers
8. Excellent agility, willing to test and modify strategies as needed
9. High level of productivity and ability to independently manage tasks to meet deadlines
10. Ability to adapt and respond positively in a dynamic and changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing or English
2. Experience and familiarity with Talent processes
