The Tactical Sourcing Specialist is expected to coordinate general sourcing activities. These include but are not limited to, statement of work, work authorization, change orders, renewals, amendments, and Non-Disclosure Agreements. The Tactical Sourcing Specialist works with Risk team to ensure compliance with banking regulations. In addition, teammate builds relationships with business partners, suppliers, Contract Manager, Category Directors/Managers and Procurement Operations.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Manages all aspects of and drives request through the Truist procure to pay process.
2. Works directly with Truist stakeholders, suppliers, and contract management on contractual provisions related to low spend/risk projects.
3. Verifies contract terms and conditions align with business needs and appropriate parent agreement.
4. Establishes relationships with business partners, suppliers, Contract Manager, Category Directors/Managers and Procurement Operations.
5. Guarantees department procedures are followed including: managing business expectations and dates, weekly status updates, and legal/contract manager assignment.
6. Reviews contract request for potential Purchase Requisitions methodology.
7. Provides potential request to manager for approval and provides guidance to business on Purchase Requisition process.
8. Verifies risk ratings are correct in system of record based on business needs.
9. Confirm spend is reasonable based on market and business’ budget.
10. Complies with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field of study or 1-3 years of experience in organizational Sourcing/Procurement or equivalent experience
2. Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management
3. Familiar with contractual structure Identify legal and business issues and risks
4. Ability to interact tactfully with numerous stakeholders
5. Capability to prioritize own workload to meet competing deadlines
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

4 days in office/1 day remote*****

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with SAP - Ariba or other similar procurement software
2. Specific knowledge of one of the following categories: Banking Services, General & Admin, Human Resources, Professional Services, Real Estate, Data, IT and Telecom, Sales and Marketing Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
3. Previous experience in financial services industry
