We are looking for experienced Systems Engineer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program delivers Enterprise Computing Engineering services with modern technology solutions with that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. As a mission-focused administrator that solves problems on the program, you will be expected to: recognize the issue(s), identify the facts, define additional data that would be helpful, make assumptions as necessary, determine alternative approaches, evaluate alternatives, make recommendations, alter assumptions and rework solutions, and reflect on lessons learned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

We are actively seeking Systems Engineers with a minimum of eleven (11) years' experience.

Demonstrate on the Job experience with Hyper V Hypervisor
Experience with managing physical hardware (HPE, Nutanix)
Demonstrate on the job experience with enterprise cloud and on prem hosting platforms across network constrained environments.
Demonstrate on the job experience with enabling and implementing full automation of platforms builds and configurations over the wire.
Ability to work in a high profile fast-paced environment.
Ability to test and deploy custom infrastructure as code using carious DevOps tools such as Jenkins GitHub Ansible, PowerShell
Strong oral and written communication skills
Provide operations and maintenance support to the DCS hosting platform solutions.
Conduct root cause analysis of noted system performance an operational issue.
Experience with patching and routine platform reboots across the hosting environment.
Monitor the performance systems to analyze the metrics produced to identify areas of improvements and report potential anomalies.
Emergency after hours engineering support as needed.
Communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills :

Experience with other hyper visors to include VMware and Acropolis
Proficiency with configuration management tools
Expert understanding of Dev Ops practices and ability to engineer within an agile framework
Demonstrate experience with documenting concepts of operations and standards of practice for tiered maintenance support
Demonstrate experience with Nutanix applications and concepts such as Nutanix flow, Prism Central, or general VM hosting
Significant experience preparing technical documentation requirements and design for complex systems
Experience with Hyper Converged infrastructure and/or software defined data center technologies
Familiarity with storage technologies fundamentals such as NetApp

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
