The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing the Inventory Specialists, Shipping Associates, Labware, and Dispensing personnel while completing orders to the highest quality and efficiency.
When will you work?
- The hours for this position are Thursday–Monday (Thu- Fri- Mon 11:30 am – 8:00 pm; Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am -5:30 pm).
What you’ll do:
- Effectively train, manage, and discipline staff as necessary. Communicate job expectations and enforce adherence to policies and procedures and SOPs.
- Oversee shipping, labware, dispensing, inventory, and receiving functions as applicable.
- Coordinate the scheduling of warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility.
- Oversee warehouse productivity tracking by ensuring customer orders are met and operational efficiency is maximized.
- Lead in department SOP creation/revision as well as workflow changes.
- Ensure all safety requirements are met for the warehouse team i.e., observations, trainings, etc.
- Monitor all cycle count programs and ensure consistency and accuracy in same and identify all operational problems in inventory.
- Move inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from the warehouse, coordinate inventory transfers with related department and record in MAS system.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all stockroom locations.
- Maintain storage area by organizing floor space while adhering to storage design principles. Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for staff traffic.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and order discrepancies effectively.
- Foster a collaborative environment by promoting team spirit, recognizing team members' achievements, and ensuring the success of the team over individual interests.
- Provide regular feedback to broader site leadership regarding improvements to systems and processes for Warehouse productivity, quality control and safety.
- Collaborate with peers to best meet the needs of the business.
- Support all facets of Wedgewood’s operations as necessary to ensure high quality customer service, safety, and effective workflow and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Handle special projects as well as perform other duties that may be assigned.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations, including but not limited to: Order accuracy rate, time to customer, shipping throughput, inventory accuracy rate, cycle count completion rate, Sade-day order completion rate, etc
- Lead daily review of department performance against key metrics; develop action plans to address gaps or declining trends.
- Adhere to all systems and procedures as instructed.

What you’ve done:
- 2 years or more of experience managing the efforts of others in an Inventory setting, preferably within a pharmacy setting
- Obtained a High School Diploma or GED; BS/BA degree (preferred) or comparable work experience
- A Pharmacy Technician license issued by the Arizona Board of Pharmacy is highly preferred
- You've worked in a ‘fast-paced’ environment and really embrace it
- Demonstrated the ability to follow very specific guidelines and procedures
