This role is hybrid. They are onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays in Atlanta near Truist Park, work from home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This is non-negotiable. You must have your own laptop.

This is a 40 hour/week freelance opportunity slated for 12 weeks and will ideally start in the middle of May.

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Sr Print Production Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in print production, with a strong focus on illustration and packaging design. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that meet our high standards for quality and effectiveness in consumer packaged goods (CPG).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative packaging designs that align with brand objectives.
• Create detailed print production specifications and ensure all designs adhere to these standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all print materials.
• Oversee the production process, working closely with printers and vendors to ensure quality outcomes.
• Review and approve proofs, ensuring accuracy in color, typography, and layout before final production.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and techniques related to print production and packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in print production design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Strong understanding of print production processes, including prepress and digital printing.
• Experience in packaging design and familiarity with consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
