Core Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing assigned suppliers and product lines and all relative parts to ensure on-time delivery, part quality, and costs
- Owns the procurement process within SAP from requisition to purchase order receipt
- Runs and maintains daily reporting tools for shortages, open POs, and open PReqs
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
- Lead system data accuracy efforts, and conduct monthly routine data maintenance
- Troubleshoots internal material issues such as quality issues, missing receipts, and invoicing issues
- Maintains all pertinent information fields within SAP, assessing data for critical KPIs like Safety Stocks, MOQs, Lead Times to ensure consistent coverage and delivery of materials
- Negotiate, implement, and maintain Lean Replenishment agreements with key suppliers
- Uphold individual inventory part levels to support manufacturing and logistics build requirements
- Support benchmarking of existing supplier costs against potential new suppliers in LCC through comparative analysis
- Challenge existing suppliers to secure best pricing through supplier negotiations, value engineering, and competitive benchmarking
- Lead efforts to prevent part stock-outs by effectively liaising with product managers, engineers, production planners, and buyers to resolve factory issues, support Sustaining Efforts, and support NPI rollout and phase-in/phase-outs
- Monitor new system demands from SIOP (Sales and Operations Planning) cycles and additional off-cycle entries to anticipate impact to inventory requirements and production scheduling, recommending actions to be taken with key stakeholders to achieve resolutions in time for shipments.
- Assess forecast accuracy and analyze inaccuracy drivers; understanding the impact on inventory and identify potential actions needed with production or engineering teams
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
- Monitor and report on important changes in production, business strategies, and engineering design implementations.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain environment, both domestic and international
OR
- Associate degree
- 9+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain environment, both domestic and international
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or similar discipline
- Certified purchasing accreditation a plus (CPM, CPIM)
- Six Sigma experienced desired
- Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to communicate data points across a multi-level audience
- Able to communicate status updates and process improvement efforts clearly and concisely to senior leaders
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and colleagues, including cross-functional, global partners; actively and constructively works to resolve conflict
- Experience driving continuous improvement efforts to ensure optimized efficiency
- Strong negotiation skills in dealing with global supply base
- Experience with training and development of associates
- Deep understanding of Push/Pull, Min./Max., LEAN Kanban supply systems/concepts
- SAP purchasing applications knowledge and experience required
- Ability to understand and discuss basic technical material and part drawings
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficient with Macros, Basic VBA or SQL
- Self-driven and motivated to succeed, with a strong work ethic
- A team player with high energy level, able to get things done by working with and through others
- Detail oriented - Highly organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - able to interface at all levels in the organization
- Strong ability to develop a sound strategy and tactical approach to improve supplier performance in support of business requirements
