TIME: 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

This Siskiyou County Social Services Job Fair offers an exciting opportunity for job seekers to apply, test, interview, and possibly even receive a conditional job offer on the very same day! Here are the key event details:

INFORMATIVE PRESENTATIONS:

Get started at 9:00 A.M. with insightful presentations from current staff working in the positions you apply for. Gain valuable information about the roles and opportunities of a Social Worker with Siskiyou County Social Services.

APPLICATION AND TESTING:

Applications will be accepted until 10:30 A.M., be sure to arrive early enough to complete your application before testing. Testing will begin at 10:30 A.M. (Social Worker IV applicants will not be tested.)

INTERVIEWS:

For those who pass application and testing, you will be invited to interview the same day. Interviews will take place 12:30 P.M. - 4:30 P.M. Come ready with your resume and unofficial college transcripts for the chance to showcase your skills and experience to the hiring team.

JOB OPENINGS:

Siskiyou County Social Services is looking for talented and dedicated individuals to join our team of Social Workers in various positions of our Adult and Children’s Services. Both experienced and those new to the role of Social Worker are encouraged to participate and apply.

Social Worker I/II requires 30 semester units in social welfare, sociology, psychology, alcohol and drug/human services, criminal justice, or other behavioral science. Those who are new to social work and have these minimum qualifications are encouraged to apply for Social Worker I/II positions and will receive on the job training. Social Worker IV requires a master’s degree in social work or a two-year counseling program. These experienced social workers will be assigned to advanced and intensive case management services.
