Our client, a faith-based publishing company in Nashville, is looking for a freelance Social Media Strategist to join their team for about 20 hours per week starting as soon as identified. The role is hybrid in Nashville with WFH flexibility.
As the Social Media Strategist, you will be working with the Creative Director on both the strategy and content creation for the company's social platforms.
The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for:
- auditing the company's Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and developing a strategy to boost engagement
- strategize ideas for the company to expand into Threads and TikTok
- utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite to create new content for social that are in line with the company's brand and vision, but also finding opportunities to re-purpose and re-use pieces of content as needed
- pulling analytics reports and finding opportunities for optimization
- utilizing Later to post all content on socials
- developing and managing a content calendar
- capturing content at company events as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of social media management
- proven track record of increasing engagement across social channels
- proficient experience utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite to create content
- a strategic thinker who can bring creative ideas to the table for social media optimization
- strong organizational and communication skills
- experience working in social media management tools, for example, Later
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
