Volt is now hiring for a CNC Machinist in Fresno, CA.

As a CNC Machinist you will:

Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills (Haas, Doosan, Mazak)
Make changeovers and machine adjustments to ensure tolerance specifications are met
Perform basic program edits as needed
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Conduct inspections using precision measuring tools
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues with minimal supervision

This is a temp to hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Prior experience operating CNC lathes and mills
Proficiency with Haas, Doosan, or Mazak controls
Ability to perform machine setups and part adjustments
Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
Proven reliability and a proactive approach to quality and safety

Schedule:

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
Night Shift: 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM (Monday-Friday, includes $1/hour shift differential)

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
