Position Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving activities, including creating and verifying shipping documentation, tracking outbound freight, and maintaining accurate records in the business system. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery of products to customers and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
Prepare all outbound shipping documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, and address labels
Ensure inventory is secure, properly labeled, and accessible to authorized personnel
Coordinate outbound freight logistics and audit all export shipments
Confirm delivery completion and update the business system accordingly
Communicate with internal departments on shipping status and logistic coordination
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Must be reliable with consistent attendance and flexibility to work nights, weekends, or extended hours as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve standard shipping issues using established procedures
Strong customer service mindset when working with internal and external partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience or education a plus
