iSphere is on the lookout for a skilled professional to join our client's team onsite in downtown Beaumont. This long-term opportunity is perfect for someone passionate about providing top-notch technical support and eager to troubleshoot a variety of IT issues. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional technical support to end users both in person and remotely.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office, VPN connectivity, and general networking problems.
- Manage and update Active Directory accounts and permissions efficiently.
- Install and configure various software applications as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service requests and resolutions using our ticketing system (experience with Fresh Service is a plus).
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams when necessary.
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to resolve recurring issues and implement best practices.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role.
- Proficiency with Active Directory for user and permission management.
- Experience with ticketing systems (Fresh Service experience preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with VPN technologies for remote access support.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience working in an onsite support environment.
