We are seeking a team-oriented Senior Project Accountant, with a demonstrated ability to thrive with multiple deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate billing instructions with project managers, prepare monthly client invoices in compliance with individual contract requirements
- Prepare monthly invoices along with support documentation
- Primary contact with client/owner and consultant accounting personnel
- Maintain digital project billing files in compliance with contracts
- Manage all aspects of projects related accounts payable
- Responsibility for accounts receivable management
- Provide support to project managers on project financial transactions and metrics
- Draft consultant contracts in coordination with project managers
- Responsibility for managing timekeeping records for billing purposes
Requirements
- Five years contract billing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail orientation with excellent communication skills and professional approach
- Ability to work well within a team and manage deadlines
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
- Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint system management

Starting annual salary ranges are targeted at ($78,000 – $95,000). Please note that with pay equity analysis, starting salary is based on the experience stated on your resume/application. Mahlum employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonus compensation in addition to salary.
