JOB TITLE: Senior Manager, Accounting

LOCATION: Irving, TX, and hybrid role, may work from home

DUTIES: Configure and customize General Ledger Account, Account Receivable, Order Management System, Account Payables, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting and Profit Center Accounting including Cost Elements. Configure and set up the organizational structure, chart of accounts, account groups, fiscal and posting period variants, document type, and transaction types. Use knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting research experience including knowledge of technical accounting concepts such as Consolidation Accounting (ASC 810), Business Combinations (ASC 805), Lease Accounting (ASC 842), Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) and equity method. Maintain accounting and financial records and reports including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports. Prepare detailed internal financial reports, including researching and explaining significant variances by working closely with various business stakeholders. Assist with performing technical accounting research and analysis to ensure compliance with accounting guidelines. Manage the quarter and year-end audit of the financial statements and liaise with external auditors as required. Configure Oracle system set-up in accordance with the company's customized Oracle financial systems for self-distribution warehouse business. Support end to end accounting, including chart of accounts, setting up accounting guidelines and policies for self-distribution warehouse business structure per current GAAP standards. Manage the quarter and annual internal audit compliance requirements and liaise with internal auditors as required. Review the quarterly and annual physical inventory count and liaise with auditors for inventory reserve assessments. Ensure Company's accounting policies are in accordance with current GAAP standards as well as SEC reporting guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as an Accountant, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years of experience in accounting, and assisting with external and internal financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual reporting. Experience therein to include 3 years of experience in each of the following: Oracle system configuration and set-up; technical accounting research; setting up and defining system attributes, lookup tables, customer class, account class, configuration type, cost elements, profit centers, chart of accounts and transaction types; using GAAP and accounting standards including Consolidation Accounting (ASC 810), Business Combinations (ASC 805), Lease Accounting (ASC 842), Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) and equity method. CPA license is required. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
